The Quarters for Quarters contest continues until Tuesday, December 19 at 11:00. The top 2 classes in the secondary will be competing in a basketball game where the winner will play WV staff. The top 2 elementary winners will be competing in a volleyball game to see who will play the staff. All monies will be donated to Rising Up.
Last week ten members from the Weldon Valley FFA Chapter attended a District Leadership Conference held at the Morgan County Fairgrounds. The conference focused on leadership, career success and personal growth.

Drama Club kicked off their new season with fun had by all! Christmas Card making, Cocoa, Crepes, and more! The members had their first script reading for their show "The Little Mermaid" which will debut this March! Let the hard work begin!

Thank you to Kaiser Premier and Doug Clapper for giving our Ag Ed students a tour of the manufacturing plant that produces hydro & air excavation equipment. The students toured the entire manufacturing plant and learned about career opportunities.

Middle of the year NWEA testing will begin next week for grades 2-11, December 5th through the 7th. Elementary and Junior High will be testing the following Tuesday as well, December 12th. We cannot wait to see the growth that the students have made throughout the first semester!

Kyra Keating and Tucker Shaver were named the FBLA members of the month for October. Kyra has been an FBLA member for three years and has been actively involved in the club. She even participated in the state FBLA event last year. This year, she has been busy designing T-shirts and working on a website for the new Warrior Mart. Tucker, on the other hand, is a first-year member of the club. Despite being new, he has already designed several T-shirt layouts and volunteers his time to work at the T-shirt booth during events.
