Here are more photos of Knowledge Bowl Competitions.

Weldon Valley Knowledge Bowl students ended their year at Regional competition Saturday, February 5 where the team earned second place. The competition was through Discord, a gaming platform which was a new experience for us. Our high school team competed against schools from 1A to 5A with some very challenging questions. We can be proud of these students for putting in time practicing and preparing for the competition.
In January, both the high school and the junior high competed in the in-person League competition held in Peetz. Great job Knowledge Bowl students!

LEAGUE KNOWLEDGE BOWL MEET (Junior High and High School)
Monday, January 24, 2022 at Peetz.
Bus will leave at 6:45 a.m. and return home around 5:00 p.m.
Lunch will be provided.

We love to cook & bake in preschool!! It is a fun way to practice our reading skills when we read the recipe, practice our math skills when we look at the numbers and talk about fractions, and a great way to practice taking turns and waiting our turn. Today we sang Peanut Butter and Jelly and predicted the ingredients we would need to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Thank you to Lorenzini family for this fun cooking experience today!!

If you haven’t already heard, on February 5th, a benefit dinner and auction is being held for Luke Makings and his family at the Elks in Ft. Morgan. We are hoping you can help us create some baskets that will be auctioned at the benefit. Below is a list of grade baskets and ideas. We are not asking for anything huge, just something simple to add to the basket if you would like. Please make sure that all items are new. You might even want to join forces with a few of your classmates and purchase something a bit larger for the basket. All items need to be turned into your teacher by January 24th.
Also! Don't forget we have tickets for sale at the front office! Adults $25 and children $15. Just see Lacey to pick yours up!
