For the Junior High Track Meet tomorrow at Brush High School students will need to their jersey and black shorts, layered clothing, sunscreen and pack a lunch and bring water. The bus will leave at 8:45 and return to the school at approximately 3:30. Below is the schedule of events for the day. Meet will start at 10 am. Field Events: Boys Shot, Girls Discus, Boys High Jump, Girls Long Jump, Boys
Triple Jump, followed by the reversal of these events (by gender) upon completion.

Juniors and Sophomores participated in a kindness activity, sponsored by the Student Council. High school students joined 3-6 graders today, eating lunch and enjoying recess together. Next week, Seniors and Freshmen plan to join K-2 graders during lunch and recess.




The sophomores enjoyed a "Gatsby" party today with period snacks, dress, mocktails, and Charades in the Jay Gatsby style.




The WV PTO is holding the Spring Craft and Vendor Market on March 26th from 9 am to 3 pm. Weather should be good; enjoy the bouncy house and mini golf course. Come and buy your Mother's Day or Easter gifts from over 40 vendors!



The 5th & 6th Grade Brain Bowl team challenged the 7th & 8th Grade Knowledge Bowl team this morning to a friendly match! It was so fun to get these groups together and watch them shine! A giant thank you to Mrs. Schnabel for hosting the fun!

Blue Horizon Writing Conference Follow-up
Some of our sophomores and juniors joined Colorado author, Laura Resau, in a one-to-one Zoom meeting, discussing techniques used in writing her books. She demonstrated how she develops characters and settings for her fiction stories. She then had the students try developing characters, using these same ideas.
