We love to cook & bake in preschool!! It is a fun way to practice our reading skills when we read the recipe, practice our math skills when we look at the numbers and talk about fractions, and a great way to practice taking turns and waiting our turn. Today we sang Peanut Butter and Jelly and predicted the ingredients we would need to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Thank you to Lorenzini family for this fun cooking experience today!!

If you haven’t already heard, on February 5th, a benefit dinner and auction is being held for Luke Makings and his family at the Elks in Ft. Morgan. We are hoping you can help us create some baskets that will be auctioned at the benefit. Below is a list of grade baskets and ideas. We are not asking for anything huge, just something simple to add to the basket if you would like. Please make sure that all items are new. You might even want to join forces with a few of your classmates and purchase something a bit larger for the basket. All items need to be turned into your teacher by January 24th.
Also! Don't forget we have tickets for sale at the front office! Adults $25 and children $15. Just see Lacey to pick yours up!

Good Afternoon Warrior Family. We would like to welcome everyone back to school and we hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas Break. As we come back to school, we are seeing COVID numbers across the county, state and nation continue to rise. If your child is sick or showing any symptoms we ask that you please keep them home as a precaution. Our goal is to remain in person and we are taking the proper steps as a school to ensure we maintain a safe learning environment for our students and staff. The Colorado Department of Education will be releasing new COVID guidance this week. We will post these new guidelines on our website as soon as we receive them. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school. We are excited for the beginning of a new semester and it is great to have your students back in the building.
