Congratulations to Westen Filter on earning his American FFA Degree this year. He was recognized at the National FFA Convention earlier this month. Weldon Valley FFA also sent eight FFA members to attend the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The members attended general sessions, leadership workshops, a career fair with over 300 booths, and toured local landmark sites.

The Volleyball send off will begin in the school parking lot tomorrow at 7:30. We will travel through town, down hwy 144 and up highway 39. If you can't make it to the school, find a safe place to park on the route and see the girls off to state!

Weldon Valley's Annual Thanksgiving Feast is Thursday, November 16th from 11am-12:30pm.

The Junior High basketball teams will be dismissed at 1:50 tomorrow for the 4pm games in Briggsdale. Girls B will play followed by Girls A. Boys A will play next followed by 2 quarters of boys B. Briggsdale boys are down a few kids this week so we will not be able to play a whole B game for the boys. Thanks
