Main Page
Welcome to my classroom page here at Weldon Valley. You'll be able to find information about events, international trips, classes, field trips, and clubs on this page. If you ever have any questions feel free to send me an email. The links have information about our domestic and international trips, National History Day, and links for social studies resources that are relevant to the classes I teach.
Here is a little about myself and my history. I'm a fourth generation resident of Morgan County and have lived my entire life in our rural setting. I've always enjoyed the South Platte Valley and I have a great appreciation for the residents of this land. My background is diverse with generational roots in agriculture, education, and in business in Northeastern Colorado. After graduating from The University of Northern Colorado, there was no question that I wanted to live and work in this area.
Keeping busy in the community is important to me. I have been very involved in Lions International, where I served as a district governor and was elected the state chairman for the Colorado Lions. I am also involved in other great organizations such as the BPOE and the Sons of the American Revolution. Locally I am the chairman of the City of Fort Morgan's Historic Preservation Committee and in the past I volunteered as a docent at the Colorado State Capitol. Recently I was commissioned by the governor of Kentucky as a Kentucky Colonel.
My wife and I have two children that we are very proud of and enjoy doing things with. We love to travel and explore new parts of the world. I am an avid Broncos fan and you'll find me at the stadium at most home games. We are very proud owners of a Centennial Farm in Weld County and I'm always glad to learn the latest in agriculture.
I can't wait to learn more about my students and their families. Hopefully I get to meet everyone who views this page and as always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
