Thanks to the Colorado Foundation of Agriculture the second graders at Weldon Valley School had a great time learning about potato production. Students learned all about Colorado potato growers, completed a potato experiment and taste tested plain, rehydrated potato flakes. They ended the agriculture in the classroom unit with a fun potato craft based on the book "Rot, the Cutest in the World" and of course a little dancing to "The Mashed Potato."
