Weldon Valley FBLA Shines at State with Record Participation; Duo Advances to Nationals

On April 2, 27 FBLA members who qualified at districts traveled to the Gaylord Rockies Resort to compete at the State Conference in team events and individual testing. This milestone marks a record year for Weldon Valley FBLA, which has grown from just 10 active members to 47 members over the past four years. This is also the first year that 27 students have qualified for the state conference.

Students attended workshops, networked with other FBLA members, and enjoyed conference amenities, including the swimming pool and lazy river. They also took part in outdoor activities such as lawn games, cornhole, putt-putt golf, and basketball.

A huge congratulations to Leila Groves and Seyda Thomas-Groves, who placed 3rd in Digital Animation!
