My love for the Spanish language began in middle school when I was given the opportunity to travel to Spain. From then on I continued learning the language in school, traveling, and spending a semester abroad in Mexico. I was born and raised in Montana and moved to Colorado in 2000. I graduated from UNC in 2007 where I studied Mexican-American Studies, Spanish, and Women's Studies. In my free time, you'll find me planning my next trip, spending time with my husband and two children, and competing as a member of a synchronized ice skating team.
